Huge thanks to @BoM for this incredible banner!

Ark: The Last Stand

As a man or woman stranded naked, freezing and starving on the shores of a mysterious island called ARK, you must hunt, harvest resources, craft items, grow crops, research technologies, and build shelters to withstand the elements. Use your cunning and resources to kill or tame & breed the leviathan dinosaurs and other primeval creatures roaming the land, and team up with or prey on hundreds of other players to survive, dominate... and escape!

The goal of the event is to defeat as many bosses before it ends. I'll be creating a tribe that everyone participating will join and we'll grow as much as we can within 2 weeks. This includes building a massive base, taming/breeding high-end dinos, defeating the bosses, and at the end of it all, doing some raids. Since this won't be on an SG server I feel it's necessary to say you're expected to follow all server rules. In general, just don't troll. f you're asked to not do something, don't do it. I'll post a spoiler below with all of the server rules in case anyone wants to read through them but don't feel obligated to. I'll give a general rundown at the start of the event.

Server Rules:

= 1.0 - Community Rules =

[1.1 - No Insulting]

Keep it civil. A bit of competitive showboating/taunting (aka "BMing") is fine, but don't descend into hurling abuse at one another.

[1.2 - No Advertisements]

[1.3 - No Spam]

[1.4 - No Cheating or Exploits]

Cheating in all forms is a bannable offense - including but not limited to: glitches, undermeshing, meshbiting or leaving the map. No excuses. This also includes admins who abuse their access to console commands (or other server features) for reasons other than performing their support duties.

Any unintended mechanics as a result from a plugin/mod that gives unfair advantages can be deemed exploitation at the admins discretion, and can result in punishment. Admins have the final word.

Included in this is using exploits with friends to get to the top of our achievement lists. It is being tracked and foul play will be punished.

[1.5 - No Griefing]

Examples of griefing include but is not limited to:

- Soaking turrets outside of raid time.

- Respawn-camping players within their own base outside of raid times.

- Dropping aggressive dinos into bases with New Player Protection.

- Blocking other tribes from expanding their base.

- Do not deliberately block player spawn locations.

- Circumventing the PvP/PvE protection

[1.6 No Insiding]

Joining a tribe with the deliberate intent of sabotage, or sabotaging your own tribe as you when you leave to join another is considered a form of cheating. This includes stealing property, turning off turrets, disclosing pin codes or leaving containers unlocked. Insiding your alliance is forbidden.

Recruiting an inexperienced player who gets your dinos killed or forgets to close a door is not considered to be insiding

Everything belongs to the Tribe Owners! IF YOU MERGE, THE NEW OWNER GETS OWNERSHIP RIGHTS TO YOUR THINGS!

= 2.0 - Tribe Rules =

[2.1 - Tribe Name and Player name]

You are not permitted to raid under an alias.

You are not permitted to impersonate another tribe.

Your Tribe and Player name must not contain symbols/letters the game won’t recognize, or contain profanities.

Tribemembers have to be in the same Tribe on all Maps.

[2.2 - Tribe Limit & Alliances]

The Tribe Limit is 12 Players. Exploiting the tribe limit is considered a form of cheating e.g. having a log-out room.

No abuse of the tribe rank system is allowed!

Alliances are limited to trio’s and below, with a maximum of 1 alliance. Alliances may not have any form of pve(excluding rebuild kit), and the two tribes may not build close to each other. Turrets from 1 alliance half must not in any way be in the way for a raiding party against the other ally!

[2.3 - Base Limits]

Each tribe may only maintain one Main Base, 4 Teleporter Stations, one Dino Hangar and one Water Pen, per map.

Main base: Main base of operations with majority of turrets etc.

NOTE. If you want to go bush-wookie and stay small on one map, clearly signal that with a sign or similar that a small base is your main base, so there can be no confusion to an outpost.

Minimum size for the main base is a surface area of 30 foundations units(5x6) OR clearly signaling it is your main base with billboards.

Dino Hangar: Dino storage area, can be separate from the main base.

No turret restrictions, but excessive storage is not allowed.

Water Pen: Water Dino storage area, can be separate from the main base. No turret restrictions, but excessive storage is not allowed.

Teleporter stations: Tribes may maintain 4 teleporter stations across the maps, with a maximum of 40 turrets, limited storage and supplies. No limit on plant turrets(these will count to your global limit however).

These may NOT be used as a FOB! Fobs must be built separately from the teleporter if a raid is nearby.

Going above the allotted amount of turrets makes your teleporter 24/7 raidable with no ORP allowed! If it is within vicinity of one of your proper bases, said base’s raiding conditions apply.

(e.g. Main base in a cave, teleporter outside on the opposite side of the entrance. still classed as part of your main base and then 24/7 raidable)

[2.3 continuation]

Lone teleporter: teleporters with little to no defences, and/or not given proper foundation supports.

Outposts: Outposts for farming, taming etc that aren’t fully enclosed have to be removed after use. Enclosed ones need to be regularly used or removed. Limited storage, limited turrets.

You may build at almost any location, but there are some exceptions or special things to take into account:

Restricted areas(ALWAYS RAIDABLE, NO ORP, NO PVE)

- All Maps: Caves, Ratholes, underwater caves and bubbles, cavities, areas not reachable by a trike (see 2.4)

- Extinction: City Terminals.

- Valguero: Abyss entrances, Ab-zone entrance.

- Aberration: Surface Entrances.

Bases in restricted areas are raidable at any time. Placing any Kind of PVE/ORP is forbidden in restricted areas see ORP 4.3.

Banned Areas:

- All Maps: Obelisks and fair range around them. Spots where it’s not possible to directly place a foundation on the ground and have to be “built up or down” to get foundation support.

- Ragnarok: Wyvern Trench

- Valguero: Wyvern Trench

- Aberration: Shadow Cave

- Center: North Ice Cave

- Genesis: Mission Zones, HLN-A Teleport Location, Magmasaur (Volcano) cave

All building, including turrets are not allowed in banned areas and will get deleted on sight without warning. Players that build or place turrets in a banned area will be target of a punish rank.

Unintended building areas that wildcard did not intend but messed up. Key features include but are not limited to(but does not automatically means it is a banned zone): crawlspaces and mesh troubles, inability to get inside without sleeping bag/tranqing or other foul play. As well as the inability to bring a soaker into range of the entry point.

Building in these will result in instant base deletion at no compensation should it be deemed a banned area. Admins have the last word.

By Violating a restricted zone's ORP/PVE rules,

Admins will remove the Orp / PVE without any warning and you will be subject of a Punish Rank

If you're absent for 3 days or more please open a ticket so we don't remove your base.

[2.4 - Trike-by-foot rule]

Every spot that isn't fully reachable by a walking trike is not allowed to have ORP or PvE and are raidable 24/7. A Trike has to be able to walk from the FoB to the targets Mainbase on land. No jumping from high above(significant fall damage). No cryopodding. On foot from the start.

[2.5 - Tribe Bounty]

Tribe Owners can apply via Discord to have a Bounty put on their tribe. While active, the tribe can be raided at all times but gains a significant boost to rates. Successfully raiding a Bounty Tribe will earn you a significant reward and remove the Bounty.Bounties are tied to a specific map, but Tribe Owners can apply for the Bounty on as many maps as they like.If you apply for a tribe hunt, you have 3 days to cancel it. After that you either live as an Alpha, or die as an Alpha.

Requirements for Tribe bounty:

2000+ structures in the region.

Must not be in a restricted area!

Tribe bounty is restricted at the launch of a season and will be announced when it opens up.

= 3.0 - PVP Rules =

[3.1 - Raiding]

Bloody Ark defines raiding as attacking a tribe's base (Main Base, Dino Hangar or Water Pen or Teleporter Station).

Raiding is not permitted except during the Bloody Weekends, unless the target has built in a Restricted Zone or is the target of a Bounty. Bases built in Restricted Zones may be raided at any time.

Raiding an ally is not permitted!

You have to remove your FOB after the Bloody Weekend. Failure to clean up excessive spam/fob should you leave of your own volition, will result in the Punish Rank. If you lose your fob/are defeated and driven back, it is up to the defender to clean up the fob and spam. Leaving cause the defender holds his ground and you are out of time/don’t wish to continue, counts as leaving of your own volition.

If it is a raid on a restricted zone, the moment your raid is over, the FOB should be taken down.

Lone Teleporters and Outposts(farming, taming etc) may be destroyed at any time.

Hatchframe protected Dinos or fully armored Dinos are forbidden and can be deleted on sight and have further punishment. This also includes the Tek-Skiff, any build that protects the skiff from beeing shot from all sides are not allowed and will be deleted on sight. If a turret would have severe difficulties in getting a target lock due to the platform design, it is not allowed! The Bloody Weekend begins every Friday at 20:00 and ends on Sunday at 20:00.

You are not permitted to raid while under any form of PVP Protection.

[3.2 Wall-up strategy]

Due to how claim range works in ARK, only some structures will actively “claim or interfere” with hostile structures. Walls isn’t one of those. This has lead to the rise of a new meta where you build a foundation far below/above a base and then freely build walls into other ppl’s bases, bypassing their defences.

https://prnt.sc/qhszuu Example photo.

Bloody is now taking a stance against this strategy, and usage of this is now against our rules, and will lead to punishment of equal degree to meshing or glitching, as we find this to be an unintended building mechanic that is easily exploited.

“Similar” standard siege strategy that builds towers close to make a ramp for a soaker will still be allowed at range, it is specifically the “cheesing” that will be punished.

[3.3 - Wiping]

Bloody Ark defines wiping as destroying an enemy's structures to the point of no-return. Wiping IS permitted during Bloody Weekend and on weekdays if it is in a restricted zone. See https://forum.bloody-ark.com/rebuild/ If you’ve been wiped.

During Bloody weekends you are also free to actively contest areas of other players.

(No longer a declaration of war needed to steal a spot during weekends)

[3.4 - Open-world PVP]

Active at all times.

Placing Turrets in open pvp is only allowed if you're picking it up or turning those off afterwards.

As far as the topic of sniping tames inside a base, the following applies:

If you can get clean shots without having to soak a single bullet or destroy any spam/structures in the way, you’re allowed to kill hostile tames at all times. If you have to soak bullets, block turrets in any way or destroy structures, it is ONLY allowed during raid times or against bases in restricted zones. It is up to the tame owner to ensure their tames are not exposed!

[3.5 - Teaming & Snatching raids]

Teaming is allowed for Solo up to Trio Tribes with their alliance for defending and attacking. Teaming is not allowed for Squads or higher and for Tribes that are not in an alliance.

In the case of a triangle scenario (Griefing a raid, counterraiding):

Should a third party attack a raiding group, the third party MUST commit to the raid should they succeed in driving the original attacker away. This means the third party group has to finish the raid on the attacked tribe.

Sniping players in an active raid is not allowed if they don’t want to take over the raid.

If you’re not intent on stealing the raid or are legitimately defending, stay out of it.

[3.6 - Imprisonment]

You cannot hold another player prisoner for longer than 30 minutes. The exception to this rule is during a raid, in which case players may be kept imprisoned for the duration of the raid. Imprisoned players must be released within 30 minutes of the raid being declared as over. If all attacking players are captured, the raid is classified as over and they may not try attacking again for 12 hours(up to the defender to provide proof of imprisonment).

[4.1 - PVP Protection]

PVE protection on BloodyArk is STRUCTURES-ONLY! You and your tames are still subject to open pvp.

New players receive 7 days of PVE. You can opt-out early, if you like. Unlike other servers, this bonus is not lost upon reaching a certain level - get as much done in these 7 days as you like! New Player Protection is active only if you join our servers for the first time after the first Bloody Weekend.

Abusing your PVE to grief other players is not permitted.

Example of abuse include but is not limited to:

- Trapping other players in pve-protected structure boxes

- Using turrets for open pvp(as said turrets can not be damaged or destroyed)

PVE is NOT allowed in restricted zones! Enabling PVE while in a restricted zone will lead to it being disabled and you will be subject to a Punish Rank.

The exceptions to this is Rebuild-kit PVE and partially newbie protection(For this we will reach out to you and make you choose. Stay and lose your protection, or leave the restricted area and keep it)

PVE is NOT allowed for Squads, Companys and Divisions. Exploits to gain PVE with these Tribe-Sizes will get punished. This does not include PVE gained through Rebuild-Kits.

Note:

- If YOU remove it by accident, it will NOT be replaced

- Protection gets removed if you invite someone without protection in your tribe

- Joining an alliance will disable your protection AND restrict you from future PVE

- Buying PVP Protection while you're getting raided is forbidden

Please submit a ticket if the plugin is not working for your tribe.

[4.2 - Offline Raid Protection]

0% dmg taken on weekdays and infinite ammo

25% dmg taken on weekends and 4x turret damage.

ORP may not be used in any restricted area! [see 2.3 Base limits] Enabling ORP in these locations will result in it being removed and you will be subject to a Punish Rank

[4.3 - Passive Dino Protection]

Passive dino protection - Details in #server settings - May not be abused in order to block off access to areas/content.

Examples include but are not limited to:

Throwing out a large tame from cryo inside a cave to restrict other people from having access to the cave. Or straight up walking it in or blocking the entrance to said cave.

Completing a tame and then leaving it there blocking new spawns, e.g. taming gachas on extinction and leaving them there passive protected.

If your tames still get killed, they are NOT “hacking or cheating”. Then YOU didn’t fulfill the requirements for protection!

= 5.0 - Genesis rules =

After some initial testing, these will be the rules we enforce specific to the new released content.

[5.1 - weapon exploits]

ANY mechanic exploit that make weapons, tools or creatures behave in an unexpected way, WILL result in heavy punishment!

One of the ways we can point specifically towards, is snow owl interactions. We want to disable content as a last resort, so play fair and don't use exploits or glitches!

oh shit what up, we raiding a server as the SG community?

Sick event

We'll be doing some raiding on the final weekend of the event since raiding is only allowed on weekends.

Also, I want to mention that there is a 12 person tribe limit so anyone wishing to participate should show up on the first day. I'll do some periodic checks on who's in the tribe and who is actually participating in the event so we make room if need be.
