Just 1 tap the guy with the gun lmao

Then once he dies, the next T in the stack gets the primary and is killed.

I really don't see how you can reasonably argue with the "crossfire" call in such a situation. There's no way in hell you're in the obligation to obliterate 4 Ts to get a single one. While it remains very situatuonal, no, this would not be considered crossfire; that's you intentionally sacrificing 4 players to stop 1.

You can usually easily take cover, order Ts to move and deal with said rebeller in a reasonable way.

Unless the ATs of the server have drastically changed their stances on the matter, that is.

Most of these situations aren't CT's full auto-ing a stack. These situations are a CT killing the T with the gun, and it gets planted so on and so forth. The kill-hungry CT who does this is smart, they wait for the T to pick up the primary, then kills them. In the situations where the CT is spraying the stack, that's just not allowed nor justifiable. Those who do should be slain.

This was also talked about on this thread: https://www.steam-gamers.net/forum/showthread.php?t=88162&page=2

Tell the Ts to unstack and freeze. If they're close enough to the guy rebelling and allowing him to stack with them thats kind of their fault.

These actions take place in the span of two seconds. A CT who's directly enforcing doesn't have the time to give such orders, and if they do they're doing it simultaneously (Lowering their attention towards in-game slightly). The CT is either going to go down guns-a-blazing, or just die respectfully. On top of that, the rebelling T is going to run into stacks to save their life and make the CT's job harder.

This entire thread is simply a matter of how can the CT counter a common T strategy, WITHOUT breaking the rules of the server (Freekilling / Mass Crossfire).

I agree with @roux and @delirium that it is very situational where it would be considered "crossfire" or not. Prior to the addition of no block to the servers, cts were able to accurately shoot the rebelling t in a crowd most of the times without the danger of cross firing other ts. However, with the addition of no block, while it has many pros, one of the cons is that there is a large increase in the chance of crossfire due to rebelling ts hiding in their buddies.

When we added no block to the servers we suggested cts to use orders like "come out of iso be shoulder to shoulder, freeze, and face iso" for example to unstack the ts in order to isolate the rebelling t. IMO, if you are spraying into a crowd and kill 5 people in order to kill 1 rebelling t, I consider that freekilling. Cts have many varying methods to separate the ts in order to prevent crossfire from occurring, but sometimes these methods are not enough and an innocent t may be killed as a result of a rebeller and thats just how JB is sometimes.

Going through the JB-related questions and wrapping them up... sorry for the late reply. Looks like this thread is already done... as mentioned before it's all very situational. Spraying down a crowd of Ts just to get to a guy with a gun in the middle of the crowd is a no-go. Spraying down 1-2 Ts to get to someone who has a gun and is actively shooting at you is fine - that's crossfire.

@Manny @Military_king Would you consider someone using the sm_stuck command to prevent crossfire abusing stuck?

Yes, that's abusing !stuck. !stuck should only be used if you're stuck in another player and can't move.

EDIT (2019-08-05): This post (about primaries and crowds of Ts) is slightly misleading. Please read our stance on shooting into a crowd of Ts to get to a KOS T with a primary here.
