What should I upgrade?

If you plan on getting a 7700K, I'd get a Z270 board aswell.

No point really in getting a K SKU and spending more money if you can't OC it with your board. Get an i7-7700 instead if you reallyy want Intel.

Otherwise I'd get a Ryzen 5 1600 with an MSI B350 PC Mate motherboard and sell your current Intel while you can still get a decent price for it.

That Hyper 212 EVO CPU cooler won't be sufficient for the 7700K it gets hot af. WWhile the Ryzen 5 1600 has sufficient cooling with the Wraith Spire boxed cooler.

Your board doesn't support 7000 Series CPU's out of the box. So you need to flash the BIOS to the lastest version with your 6000 series CPU, or else your system won't boot.
