Some people that you meet on the internet are better friends than irl

Ain't that the truth ^^ But seriously, while I can, and do, enjoy hanging out with friends irl, I find that there is something unique and sometimes far more entertaining in friends over the internet that allows me to feel more comfortable. Some of the people I've met online I have become far closer to than 99% of people I will meet irl, maybe that's because there are so many more people to choose from? Either way, when you have known someone over the internet for years and finally meet up in real life it's pretty awesome and I think the extra time you spend with that person everyday when you can't meet irl builds relationships much faster and potentially farther than you could with someone you only see irl
