my tv controller has a cable and tv mode, if your changing channels your on cable

my dad always turns off the cable box and leaves the tv a blank black screen because he doesnt know to switch

Just quoting this one for reference, but to all of you, I wish I had your patience. My mom used to be kind of bad with computers (not THIS bad though), but I didn't let it go on for very long. If she ever had a stupid question I'd show her once and that was it, I'd ignore her or get very angry the next time. Now she can use a computer pretty well, and doesn't fall for all the stupid fuck popups and spam-mail everyone else in the damn building falls for that I have to fix for my job.

Anyways, I know what you're going through haha. My grandma is the same way.

My friend's grandma is an expert at computers! He says she plays Sims all the time because that way she get to "relive" again ;b

She is alot better then one of those old grumpy grandma's

Dad: Eric, I deleted my recycling bin.

Eric:*finds recycling bin and puts back on desktop* *opens recycling bin full of porn*

Dad: Did you do this, I don't look at this stuff.

Eric: *looks at dad -_-* (he said it the panicky way a child would)

Dad: *Becomes quiet and slowly walks away*

Awkward......

Well, it's hard to teach them how tu use a computer because they never got a computer when they were young. What it will happens in 30 years, when we will have childs and they're using a new technology that we never got before and they will be trying to teach to us how to use it. They will do the same reaction that we are talking about.
