  1. We have tried several times to bring ZE back, but there really isn't a community for it and all the times we've tried it just isn't successful. As an event we could try it, but I don't think it would stay long.
  2. I am so excited for this shit to come out!
  3. VULTURES 1...

(i personally like the other one better) Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign collaborative album under the collaborative name ¥$. This album was so good, and I think the marketing for it was just so off. This album was a breath of fresh air from Jesus Is King to Donda 2 being not terrible, but not great either. This album felt like old Kanye in some aspects. I was scared for what this album would've been, but after this release, it's been on loop. STARS, what a great starter to the album, very Donda-esc, if anything even Ye; and it was very calming, a nice welcoming. Nothing too crazy, and it helps you get into the flow of the album. KEYS TO MY LIFE, this song is so fucking solid. Although the beat swap felt very odd to me, after you get passed that it's still such a vibe, driving on the highway chilling with friends. It's nothing spectacular; but that outro is really good. PAID, I am playing this every time I get paid, this song is so fucking good, I can't really describe it, the backtrack is so addicting, the vocals also compliment the backtrack. That beatdrop hits so hard, and gives me goosebumps every time. That outro once again is so fucking good, and that Daft Punk vocal with the glitches is so nice. Great song. TALKING / Once Again, fire ass beat, but fuck North shut up... it's a cute song, and I'm happy he included his daughter into the album, she seems to really appreciate it so.. yeah. But Once Again, this song should've been separate, it's so good and I think decently underrated cause I haven't heard anyone talk about it. Ty did amazing on this. BACK TO ME, this is where I think the album actually begins, I love this song so much, that sample is so fucking good, that intro is incredible and Ty's vocals on this are so smooth, it has a weird Travis vibe to it, but it's so good. BEAUTIFULNAKEDBIGTITTYBUTTNAKEDWOMENJUSTDONTFALLOUTTHESKYYOUKNOW!!! This song is fire as shit. Freddie Gibbs ending the song was so hard too. HOODRAT, HOODRAT HOODRAT HOODRAT HOODRAT HOODRAT HOODRAT HOODRAT HOODRAT HOODRAT HOODRAT AUNTIE. This feels like a song from a different era of music, like the 2010's, but nothing from nowadays, and that's how I feel with a lot of the songs on this album. The backtrack has that weighty thunk to it I love. DO IT, this song reminds me of a radio song from the late 2000's. It also reminds me of Soak City (Do It), and I can't get that song out of my head when I hear the "Do it, baby do it". Great song still. PAPERWORK, brazilian funk is all it is, this song was so surprising and I FUCKING LOVE IT, WHEN I HEARD THIS I WAS LIKE "DAMN YE" listening to this on the highway, zooming and getting entranced in this music is just so fucking fun. BURN, this song is so relaxing, sunny day with the windows down going to the beach type vibe, I love this song. I don't know every individual sound off of Kanye's albums individually, but this is so old style and is so fun. Wish this song was longer. FUK SUMN, such a UTOPIA song, I love it, such a vibe. Carti sounds just like Mario Judas joking vocals. This song is so hard, and Ye' dissing the paparazzi for taking a picture of him getting head in Italy is hard too. Travy Patty goes hard too. Hard song, love it, gets me hard. VULTURES (JUICE), this version was mastered a lot better than the other version, this song is also fire as shit, Bump J vocals and Lil Durk compliment eachother so well. The beat is so good, I love this version a lot more than the Havoc version. Ye's vocals are just plain funny. VULTURES (HAVOC), I really like the beat to this but I wish it synced with the vocals more, its odd. Not bad, not great. Very mysterious. CARNIVAL, this song is probably one of my favorites off the album. The beatdrop is fire, the beat is also so reminiscent of Mobamba. That chant is gonna be so fire live. Ozzy Osbourne is boring. BEG FORGIVENESS, this song is beautiful, Chris Browns vocals are so good, that JPEGMAFIA did so good on the beat for this song, This song is once again not from this era of music that comes out. The way its composed is perfect, the lyrics are literally perfect. It's so mellow, it feels like MBDTF to me. This is the song I've played the most. BEG FORGIVENESS BEG FORGIVENESS BEG FORGIVENESS BEG FORGIVENESS. The edits this song can make are so hard. I really wanna see someone use this in a The Last of Us Part 2 edit. The second half of this song is literally incredible. Ty did amazing. GOOD (DONT DIE), Cudi should've been on this song, and this song feels like the end of the album, or an album even. It's so beautiful, J.Rey Soul's vocals are beautiful. 808s and Heartbreak vibes on this song. PROBLEMATIC, Ty is getting a new fan after this album because his vocals on this are amazing on this. MBDTF vibes again off this song, and that throwback to SO APPALLED is fire. KING, I personally didn't care for this song, it isn't anything special. He could've left this out and gave us Everybody instead. It's very bland to me. This album was actually amazing to me, I loved it so much, the marketing made me think it'd be something different, especially since I didn't listen to the leaks. This album was a 9/10 for me personally. Can't wait to listen to Vultures 2!
  4. Pluto...

If there is any anime that deserves Anime of the Year 2023, it has to go to Pluto. Pluto is a story retelling by Naoki Urasawa of the famous work Astro Boy by Osamu Tezuka. The Netflix adaptation, made by Studio M2 is 8 episodes long, with every episode being around 45 minutes to an hour long. Naoki Urasawa has to be one of my favorite mangaka's of recent time, and there's so much I still want to read from him. He's also the creator of my favorite animanga, Monster. And he has a lot more literary work I'd love to delve into, such as 20th Century Boys, and Billy Bat. The production of this Netflix show is beyond stellar, probably the best thing Netflix has done anime wise, and yes, beating Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Everything seems so perfect, like it was given time, love, and effort. The art style is so faithful to the manga it's actually incredible. The first episode caught me on so fast it's surprised me, it built the world, the characters, parts of the theme, and so much emotion packed into this hour long episode.. and god damn did it do good. When I first initially watched Pluto, I was watching with my best friend and we were both reacting to it at the same time. I literally cried. The first episode and I cried. It left me so conflicted. The score, the writing, the life with both of these characters that are only introduced halfway through the episode. This section of the episode felt so random to me, "Who the fuck are these people?" "Stingy old man." "God why is this even here?" "Holy shit this is going on for so long." "Whoa." "Bro." "Oh wow." "Austin I'm tearing up bro.." was literally almost exactly how I reacted to this entire segment. This animation, lighting, and god damn that fucking piano. Perfection. I have never been moved by someone just simply playing a piano. I love things that are grand, beautiful, methodical in music. And this piano felt so real to me. It felt real, like it came from someone's heart. Not only did Naoki Urasawa create this song (from my knowledge), but he executed the emotion it would convey. A blind pianist, who can't make his last symphony, only to be seemingly taunted by this lifeless wannabe human. Simply just a robot. But this robot has a lasting impression on him as the episode continues. He becomes conflicted in his own thoughts, does he hate this robot? Does he appreciate this robot? It has no feelings, but how is it able to create this? It even got me to think about my viewpoint on AI! God this episode was absolutely stellar. Someday, I want to learn how to play the piano and learn this specific piece. If you've seen Pluto and wondered about what it may be, I really can't stress this enough but watch this first episode, it is truly spectacular. The theme throughout this show expresses a lot about hatred, sadness, sorrow, morals, and love. Naoki Urasawa is just the king at reading human emotion, even showing this stuff in 2004, with his manga being adapted into, Monster. Monster struggles with themes of, Good and Evil, morality, consequences to actions, and highly philosophical viewpoints. This thread literally covers only the first episode, and everything else only get's more and more interesting, such as dealing with international affairs, wars, death, mourning, corruption, terrorism, and so much more. I couldn't recommend this anime more. If you haven't already, please go and watch this anime. It is so worth it.
  5. January 1, 2024 And the start of another new year! This year was honestly one of my best years. I learned a lot about myself, other people, and overall matured a lot this year! I got myself a girlfriend, amazing and loyal friends, secured myself a future(ish), got myself a car, and overall this has been the best year I've probably had in a very very long time. I have a couple New Years resolutions I am going to 100% follow too, and I'm really happy that I have a good resolution. 1. Start working out regularly 2. Read at least 15 books this year 3. Start heading back to school and pursue my career 4. Start learning off my brother 5. Be more understanding 6. Go accident free for the year! This year is really looking good for me, and I'm excited to see where it goes. If you have any resolutions, feel free to post them! New Year, New Me baby! We are going to the fucking moon this year LETS FUCKING GOOOO! Happy New Years Folks.. Stay Safe.
  6. We all live in your head rent free
  7. I personally don't see the point of removing the forums. I understand not putting an emphasis on the forums, but giving up on it seems so weird? We haven't done anything to boost the forums in ages, so why throw it away? If anything, remove the clutter from the forums, and leave it where it is. If people choose to hop on and make posts, let them. No one is being forced to use them. Even with discord having it's own forum section feature, I personally hate the way it looks and would never use it. I feel like there's a lot of people that share that sentiment as well. I couldn't agree with you more, the forums, although not active, is still a place to exist; if there isn't problems with holding the forums due to monetary constraints, why close them at all? There aren't too many games that have community servers, and some games that do have community servers are either completely dead, or not worth our time to even try and implement. Though we do have certain games that have caught our eyes such as Battlebit, which has a really good community server basis. And we also want to look into Sandstorm and such. And with what we should do with the discord, I personally think- remove certain channels like the insurgency one, destiny 2, politics, food, all that stuff. Heavily unused and adds a lot of clutter. Simplify the discord and keep it clean.
  8. Leaving this here for now, but please refrain from the +1 spam, let's keep the post civil and keep discussion on topic please.

  10. Although with the domain being really confusing, having steamgamers.com vs steam(-)gamers.net; I don't think we should rebrand. I think it'll cause a lot of mass confusion, and how many people truly have messed up the domains? If they were looking for us through any conventional means, i.e our servers, advertising on gaming boards and such, we would probably have this domain linked. Any one who messes up the domain is either 60 and their brain is failing, or 10 and their still learning how the internet works. Steam-Gamers (SG) is such a staple name to me, and it does have a long history, that which isn't terrible. It flows through the tongue well, the tag is recognizable, and we have a solid logo. Also the colour scheme of SG is something I personally love. Everyone sees that stuff differently and I respect that, but the Green, Gray contrast just works for me. I often look at other communities, and I absolutely hate their colour scheme. The Modding Community, eGO, IG, and Karma, are the forums that stand out the most to me as absolutely hideous looking, and from what I've looked through; SG has the best forum in terms of stylization, where to find information, etc. Every time I look at this post, it doesn't seem right to me at all. The direction we should be heading in (and I think we are for the most part) is to adhere to the younger generation of people.. not a bunch of old people who want to play ZE/ZM for a nostalgic run just to disappear off to their lives again. If we want SG to grow, we should be moving to people who have the time, and dedication to spend on the servers. also these names suck sorry. My vote is to keep SG as what it is, and not worry too much about rebranding.
  11. Another lynxie video, please enjoy!
  12. For me, the servers have changed so much that it seems like the options that we have are very limiting and I personally do miss CS:GO TTT so much, that hopping on anything else is a bit tiring. Added with the fact that my life has been so busy, dealing with work, social situations, relationship stuff, financial things; and now college coming up. Haven't had time to even really look at my pc. And whenever people decide to pop the servers, it's literally when I leave. So
