As you may see by the title, I'm gonna focus this post on how to fix the JB server from all the issues that it currently faces: freekilling, mass-freekilling, mic spam, toxicity, racism, disrespect, etc.
There are many ways to fix the issue at hand, but lets start with the rules. These are a couple of rules that I believe must be added/removed from the current JB server so that we can fix issues.
1. [Remove] Remove warning shots. Not only does it lead freekilling (accidental headshots, AWP warning shots, double warning shots, etc.) but it also allows for people to say, "No, it was his 2nd warning shot already." or "It was a warning shot, not a freekill." If you remove warning shots not only will you get a better CT-T round win ratio because rebelling of any sort will be KOS, but you will also have less freekills.
2. [Add] Add a warden system. With a warden system you'd have however many CT's and one main CT who would give all the orders. This would remove the issue of conflicting orders, contradicting orders and people calling out orders over each other. This will keep it so that T's will only listen to orders from one person and not be afraid of getting freekilled because there was a T order or something of sorts.
3. [Add] Add an !peace/!silence command that can be used by the warden (as described above). The way that this command would work is that the warden would be able to (once every 1-3 minutes) type !silence in chat and it would mute everyone for a certain period of time. This would allow for him to give any imperative orders that he needs to give without being interrupted and screamed over.
4. [Remove] Remove this rule that says that 'you can't force death games'. If you can't force death games then what's the point of having 20 death games in a map? By forcing T's to do death games, players will die from the games, not from CT's. The way the server works now forces CT's to kill T's to get to LR, if they don't kill the T's, the round will end in a draw or in a CT loss. Forcing death games is part of JB.
5. [Add] Increase the amount of time that rounds have. After removing #4 (the suggestion above), having longer rounds would be fantastic. It would allow for more games to be played.
6. [Add] A CT queue instead of allowing anyone to join CT. This means that if someone gets swapped and the admin leaves the server, the player must wait in queue before joining CT again, giving a bigger time gap between the swap and returning to CT. Players with longer play-time (up to 24 hours) get queue priority.
7. [Add] Add specific special days, such as warday (CT's pick a map area and they must stay in that area and kill the T's that come in near proximity of that area, last 2 T's alive get LR), hide and seek (T's get let out of cells and must hide, last 2 alive get LR), freeday, low grav. freeday, drugs freeday, battle royale (T's fight other T's, last 2 alive get LR). These specific special days could be accessed by the warden through a command such as !sd (short for special day).
8. [Add] A chat filter that prevents people from saying the N word or any derivative of it, cursing (excessive), homophobia, sexism, racism, etc.
9. [Add] Start a warn-kick-ban system. Someone freekilled > slay, again, kick, again, ban. Said the N word > mute, again, kick, again, ban. Quite often I see player screaming the N word and spraying stack as if there was no tomorrow. After killing a mass stack they get team switched. That's not right. Minimum for spraying down a stack should be a 1 week ban.
10. [Remove] Repeat maps. There are at least 5 maps on the map pool that are reskins of electric. They have the exact same layout and those are the only maps that get rotated. Rarely do you see maps such as clouds, peanut, etc. played. This will cause for players to know more about different maps, discover new secrets (something that the JB community needs. I went on clouds and knew all secrets while 95% of players didn't know the most basic ones) and, at the end, have a more diverse map pool.
These are a few of the suggestions I can think of right now. I will keep on adding to this post as I think of new suggestions.
I've been playing JB since 2014 and I'd say I know a lot about it. I'm glad to attempt and help with plugins, adding new rules and enforcing them if needed.
Please give me feedback on what you think
