  1. While the rule does state that doing damage is KOS, baiting is also punishable. I have seen this issue a lot of times in the past, however the admins often solve the problem by punishing the CT that is baiting, that is only if the T that knifed was killed. Most of the time the CTs are not that kill hungry and will not kill for pre-knifing. I don't see this rule as an issue that is big enough for it to change, as the change would create more complicated problems, compared to leaving the rule be.
  2. Since the last thread was closed for whatever reason, even though the main point of the post wasn't brought up, ill bring it up again. We should change the wording of the definition of "completed an LR" as it would decrease confusion as well as decrease delay of the round as a whole. The rule as is states in this post "LRs are considered to be complete when the winning party kills the losing party or wins Rock Paper Scissors." However it is common sense when "an LR is complete", if a gun toss was done and both parties agree the T won the gun toss, the CT slaying themselves should count the LR to be over. That was the main argument that arose for that post to be made, once an LR is over and the CT loses, if they slay themselves, is the T KOS or not. As I stated before, yes, they should be, as the LR was complete, this is how it been for years since the LR command was introduced, as I was there when we implemented it. But I want to hear the thoughts of other admins, other than 20 scrolls (i think you were the admin that brought up this whole argument with me, if I am wrong, I apologize.)
  3. i understand what @urp said, but i disagree with @Gentoo said, many of the times that Ts get shot, its not at all their own fault as most of the time they get crossfired or even freeshot, but as we all know, there is not a rule that cts have to provide medic in any situation. I know this seems like the same thing, but it isn't since in the regular orders, you aren't supposed to take more damage, therefore you don't need medic. Otherwise in deathgames, you do. I guess I can just deal with the lack of change and just accept what urp said, but I'll keep trying to make this a regular thing on the server, as more of a policy than a rule.
  4. this is a problem sometimes in JB mapmade deathgames, sometimes the deathgame will not kill you in one shot, such as some jump ropes or doge course in undertale. So I would say that the cts are required to heal the T before this type of deathgame. Most deathgames dont have this problem such as deathcrate. Im just asking would this change of the rule be any problem or is the addition just something good. Thank you, have a wonderful day.
  5. Sadly some admins do not consider this conflicting. I agree with you, and seeing others do as well, we should specify in the rules that "Conflicting is if a CT gives an order before the T's are allowed to finish the previous one." exactly as you said. But higher ups usually have an excuse on why they will not add this specification. Conflicting is a main part of why warden is going to be tested in the future, if we fix this problem, maybe the warden won't have as much power.
  6. beat you too it cuck https://www.buzzsprout.com/615634/1745824-sg-jb-meeting-9-21-19.mp3?blob_id=5085937&download=true
  7. Okay this brings up another question since this is the more acceptable answer. Say there are 8 Ts alive and 4 rebelling Ts, you force deathgame on the 4 not rebelling. Do you have to have to stop the deathgame at all? Like I'm hoping that at least one person should be left alive on the deathgame, but since there are more than 4 still, at least in force deathgame rules, you don't have to stop it. This part of the rule should be stated because I don't want this scenario to happen and CTs just leave 4 or more innocent Ts in deathcrate while they search for the rebelling Ts.
  8. ok so to my understanding, the default rules for guntoss are "throw it before you hit the ground, no knifing it, not rocket toss. This while throwing it the same direction the T does." so this means that the "state rules before LR" rule does not apply to location and direction? if this is the case, I will be so happy since this solves all issues in the guntoss problem
  9. I agree with ZZL, but because of this, there should be an exception to guntoss in the LR rules. Guntoss is a ton more complex than a knife fight, s4s, rps, or a no scope battle. In gun toss you have to pick a location, a direction, and rules on throwing it, such as being able to knife it mid air. In the other LRs (other than rps) the only rule that is common knowledge is not being able to heal, and in s4s, you cant knife the other person. I do not believe this should be more complicated than it needs to be, if you try to set a standard guntoss, this will be extremely difficult and complicated because of all the variables. If you are able to make this work, that would be nice, if not I have an idea. In order to makes this as simple as possible, I personally think guntoss rules should be allowed to said after LR request. I have a few reasons to make this request, of course the main reason is that its complicated and its different every map, so its pretty hard to make a common rule. The second reason is that when told to LR, you have a time limit to do so, you have to be quick about doing this because many people are trigger happy and what if you are not provided the time to explain everything, which is usually the case. With this comes a couple examples, such as people without mics, their time is only an average of 15 seconds to type in a few sentences, that doesn't seem fair, since many cts do not read chat when they type "I'm typing rules" or they do not care if they are typing rules since they went passed the time to give LR and they already got a warning shot. Even with a mic, when told to do LR, others are also explaining rules on their mic, and guntoss rules take a significant amount of time to tell unlike the others, usually this isn't a major problem, however they may get talked over so they have to wait till people stop talking, and again, trigger happy cts will kill them, even when saying "I'm trying to explain rules." Please consider my exception to the LR rule and make the guntoss policy (of telling rules after LR request) into the real rules. However I'm fine with the other LRs to be rules before request. thank you for reading and have a wonderful day.
  10. When starting a death game, do you have to announce you are starting the death game before you do so? Such as on the Dojo map, tower climb was the order at the time (it was acceptable death game time) and midway through, a CT just started the death game by opening the glass so if they fell, they died immediately. I looked at the rules and forums and i found nothing on this, it seems to be common sense to announce death game, but since it is not written anywhere this rule is not official. I would think/suggest that you should have to announce you are forcing death game before you do so. Without announcement, there will be so much confusion and it is just plain rude to do this. Thank you for reading and have a wonderful day.
  11. First order is honestly not very necessary and I know many people that want it removed. Most of these people play majority of their time as CTs, as FO gives Ts advantages if the person that takes FO gives slow or bad orders. Now that you guys added a new rule with FO, I don't believe that asking you guys to remove it is going to be successful. So I propose an addition to the rule to make it more fair for the CTs that have no say in the first several seconds in the round. The person that takes FO must be the one who opens cells, quickly without delay. Most of the time I have seen people take FO and go to the exact opposite side of the map of what orders were. barely enforcing if at all. Before FO, many cts could make a good order by adding on to the order so the order could be enforceable, but now if the guy that takes first order doesn't make a good order, there is confusion and loopholes that Ts can make without disobeying. Making the person that takes FO open cells will be good for 1)The FO guy enforces his order 2)The round doesn't get delayed 3)People will be less tempted to abuse FO because there is more of a responsibility to it.
  12. discord?

  13. i love this server and dont want to be banned (again) but a couple admins got touchy when i asked them "why isnt calling someone a cracker the same offence when someone calls someone the n word?" i do not believe i was being rude, i think i have screen shots posted on my steam. if the rule isnt about racism and only about the n word they should change the rule to that. however if the rule is no racism i believe that calling someone a cracker should be punished the same ways as the n word (this doesnt happen as far as i know), please comment on this (multiple admins) i really want to know your feedback on this. thank you
  14. Crossfire itself is really annoying for Ts because most of the time if someone gets crossfired they aren't allowed to go to medic most of the time. The only time they are allowed to go is when a lot of Ts are hit in crossfire. I want to add a new rule to what is considered crossfire. This rule is that "it is NOT crossfire if the CT does not hit the intended T". I doubt you could enforce this rule with most rapid fire guns but i'm trying to make this rule mostly for AWP using CTs. I see this a lot in JB, a CT tries to kill a KOS T with an AWP and "crossfires" an innocent T, they don't even kill or hit the KOS T, then they call crossfire and don't have to slay. i want this rule to affect all guns because most people in JB don't want to get killed or hit in crossfire just because the CT is terrible at aiming.
  15. i think its the best its going to be, unlike it was before (you cant kill CT or T during LR) this gives the other alive Ts to rebel and more importantly the CTs to kill the T if they were KOS before the LR
