  1. Some of it is true, some I would disagree with. School builds a foundation for most children when they're growing up, without an adult/teacher, children would grow up to be freaking animals with no respect, manners, or dignity. Like Stunning said, most subject give no valid connection nor point to the real world or our reality today. But subjects like history have to be taught because we DON'T want to repeat some events of history again (like ww2, the war of 1812, etc). We learn from history so that we can use the past to change tomorrow from today. History itself shows us how to live life properly sometimes socially, economically, and emotionally. Some subjects are useless yeah, unless you're going into a major or would like specifically learn something (geography, science, etc). Although sometimes we do need to appreciate knowledge in general because it can help us in the most unexpected of times. Children and students do need to know information to get a good education, which in return gets them a good job if they work hard enough (whether not they like studying/working). And a job provides them with money and financial stability, which in return gives them the capacity to live life. In retrospect, education and learning may not seem so appealing or useful, but at the end of the day with such a competitive and highly populated world we have now, it is absolutely imperative due to the face that that's you can survive. You need an education, you need proper learning and life skills, you need to know how the world works. Plus for those who hate school with a passion, it teaches them that sometimes you don't always get what you want, and that what needs to be done has to be done. Side thought: I agree with Milk and his teacher here. Countries and ministries of education should adjust and modify their curriculum accordingly, so that lessons can be related to the real world; we should be learning more skills that we can apply and extend off of. Also, many things that you don't feel like you're learning at school, you really are. The most basic example I can think of is group work during school. It teaches you how to work effectively with people you like and people you dislike (whether not they have the skills and capabilities to work efficiently is irrelevant), because in the real world, you will encounter many people that you like and dislike, and that's something you can't change unfortunately. You have to learn to cope with those that give you a hard time. @Stunningjam [Wasn't that tag perfect? I'm amazing] School teaches fundamental skills that playing video games at home and being homeschooled while doing math drills online doesn't teach you. Life is a terminal disease. Education could be or not be part of the symptoms. Thanks for reading anyone that actually spent the time to take a look at my opinions. Keep learning guys (instead of playing SG when you're supposed to study >.
  2. I think personally a casual event would attract a lot more people, and give the organizers a heck easier time. Tournaments are incredibly difficult to organize, including getting results, spectating, etc. Some good ideas to add on would be some random giveaways during the event, giveaways for everyone that participated, prizes for most goals, etc. Maybe even admin vs player again, that'd be cool. Would definitely support this idea 11/10
  3. Yo @Ngo for the 3rd category is it supposed to be US State Capitol? Might want to change it to capital? Idk
  4. Go back to the cavemen times and fuck everyone up
  5. This question is damn confusing @Elemental By the looks of everyone else answering, I would go with Oshawott? That water dude with the teddie bear like shape.
  6. I'm not sure if most people will have early access I'd say it's better if we do it during the open beta time (weekend), so more people could join and play which would be awesome =D
  7. The open beta begins on the 5th, which is in 3 days (Thursday), I'm not sure if everyone has early access, but I'm pretty hyped for this game nonetheless. Sadly didn't preorder so don't have early access The early access play period begins on May 2 at 4 PM PST, while the open beta starts at the same time on May 4.

  14. You are a savage but an honest person. I think maybe he's talking about a CS:GO version of the game Plants.vs.Zombies? My perception of what he was trying to say is to have a few humans in a custom built csgo map spawn and only have 1+ lives. They try to survive as many waves as possible while stuck in a certain area I guess and try to kill zombies that spawn (that come at you and try to kill yo [sort of like zombie escape except humans are restrained]) which could either be NPC's or other players (with slowed movement speed?) which could be pretty funny. You get money for surviving each wave I suppose and use that to upgrade armor, and buy nades + weapons. Although I completely agree with Stunning that you should put more effort into your posts @Saucy , the idea isn't bad, elaborate more on it that's all because we are all very confused.
  15. KOBE BRYANT

The Chinese team that was at Dreamhack. We're on the same page right? Although this entirely irrelevant to the Kobe/Curry discussion.
