Higher ups can see console logs. While they are not fool-proof, they do provide enough evidence for most situations. Oh I absolutely agree. Steamgamers is a large community, admins have a lot on their plate. But we put admins through applications and pretty much require them to be recommended by other admins to prove they are capable of enforcing the rules, do we not? All I'm saying is admins don't seem to be given a lot of trust in their admining decisions unless they have concrete evidence, so what's the point?

It's not my "go-to", nor am I so incompetent to not understand that change is a thing. Again, with miniscule investigative and reasoning skills, you can come to the correct conclusion. If it's the second round and a ct has 30 kills in prison break with everyone screaming freekiller, I think it's safe to assume he's an actual free killer. I never said to fully base decisions off of hear-say, I simply said to allow that option if an admin came to the logical conclusion.

Through logical thinking. Admins have to prove they are fit for admin don't they? Simple things like that should be no problem for someone with a miniscule amount of investigative skills.

So I don't know about any other players, but I'm personally sick of hearing the line "Sorry, I wasn't here when it happened." from admins. Before I get horse dung shoved down my throat for saying that, please allow me to explain. Say there is a mass freekiller in prison break. There were no admins on, just a few regulars and the random skiddies that join. An admin joins shortly after and the player stops simply because someone with [sG] in their name joined. The ENTIRE server is saying that person had mass free killed many times, but no one got demo during the killing. The admin doesn't do jack... Why? Because our admins are now equivalent to a supervisor -- They have a fancy title, but instead of being able to straight up fire someone, they have to call the manager... They are just glorified baby sitters. Now I know it's not the admin's fault, it's whatever rules set in place to keep admins for banning unfairly or whatever. But I've literally banned more rulebreakers than half the admins, without the title. There is no point in calling an admin anymore, they are only good for when some random decides to break the rules in front of them because they don't know [sG]'s are admins. I thought there was a reason that our members have to go through a "proving ground" before getting admin to prove that they can keep their cool. If they have to prove they aren't some ban happy 12 y/o, why can't they make decisions based on logic and witnesses as well as evidence or witnessing the act themselves? Back on source if you called an admin in and filled them in on what happened, they'd usually ask a couple other players and ban the rule breaker on the spot. This lack of authority in our "authority" has caused me to take 2 hiatus, and I doubt I'm the only one. If an admin consistently makes the wrong decision, then obviously they are unfit to be admin, don't put in rules to hinder the other admins. EDIT: It is the admin's job to keep the servers trouble-free, not the regular player. Yes regulars should report players when admins are not available, otherwise admins should be administrating. I apologize if this lacks consensus, it's more of a rant I admit.

This. MSE has improved a ton, seems to catch most viruses as of late. Usually run MB then SB if my computer is acting weird and MSE didn't detect anything.
