  1. Portal 3???

    I think its quite nessesary to talk about half-life when talking about portal since its actually the same universe. I suspect if valve did aperture to be part of the halflife universe they will integrate it into halflife 2 ep 3 one way or the other.. even in episode 2 you see the aperture logo on a huge cargo ship during a cutscene. Frankly i have not yet played portal 2 yet so I can't really add any more than that to the subjet
  2. To be honest I find 45 mins to be quite perfect. Even on some maps I find it to short. And usually if the map stop being fun and start stalling people usually RTV

I actually expressed myself badly, i didnt meant grab the gun, i jus meant that before they say no detour or delay it's quite logical if possible to bend your path toward a gun, and when they mention it you simply readjust your course. Thats the fun part about round beginning you can really bend your way around until you find an opportunity and it quite often ends up in hilarious outcomes. We lose a lot of this fun with the new no warning shot rules.. it becomes a generic Jail break server where CT become trigger happy and give ridiculous rules like.. dont touch this or dont do this and as soon as you do it even if its absolutly not a rebelling act.. Boom you're dead. Of course most of you will tell me "well dont do it and obey orders" sure i guess it makes sense if you wanna survive but what made PB fun was that on several maps it was quite hard to rebel as a T when faced to good Ct and it was also very hard for a CTS to keep T at bay. I've played a lot today and I have to say the amout of rebelling has really dropped, wich is a shame because it's what makes PB fun in the first place. Short intense rounds with CTs on their toes and T looking for every tiny opportunity. I suppose I understand the the fact that a lot of overplayed map are too T sided, but what i dont understand is that there is warning shots for having a holstered pistol, and yet if you fall off the cage they have the right to kill you. I think there should be a fine line between disobeying a rule with intention of rebelling. For instance being orded to zombie freeday and running into soccer.. well you should get killed, because that is majorly disobeying. But if the order is crouch out of solity into medic. and someone run into medic either by choice or by negligence It's not really a rebelling act he is still gonna end up in medic anyway a warning shot is a lot more appropriate imo. I find that it's turning into a jail break server like all others where every little sidesteps are passible of death.
  5. not nessesarely i was jus pointing out what's usually happening in a prisoner mind.. you always obey by bending the most possible, and quite often rules are not given in 1 shot. And quite often you can already be by said location before rules are finished being orded. I actually quite approve the whole no warning shot deal during the round as it makes stuff more dangerous and fun for T's and more simple for ct's but at the begining of the round during the first order i think it should be a lot more flexible for several reasons.. 1- slow given orders 2- beginning of round afk-ness 3- new players that don't know where to go 4- conflicting rules confusion it's a bunch of ingredients for a really good freekill flavored soup That said, i'm not QQ'ing jus trying to point out stuff that imo could cause problems.

I like the changes but i find that warning shots have pretty much dissapeared with these new rules.. especially at start of rounds when it's usually "go to big cage" on you're way to big cage (maybe detouring to grab a gun on the way "no detour no delay" head back toward big cage "be crouching" pretty much at big cage by now, don't see the use of a 1 sec crouch ** bam you're dead cause you were ""disobeying rules"" Or the fact that a lot of ct's dont really give a lot of time to comply to orders given I found the warning shots for non rebelling acts a lot more logical. right now the only reason warning shots are used are pretty much for holstered pistols. I guess we will see how it plays out in real and when people get used to the new rules.
  7. That's pretty much what i suggested.. only thing that makes me sad is the lack of the female rebel for supporter I miss her But all and all, thanks a lot for bringing skins back and a working and less confusing supporter chat
  8. i think it's not against the rules to kill someone after a last request, but you are quite a douche if you do it. Kind of ruins the fun for everyone

The whole knifing after the end of round thing is quite fun, and tbh usually if a ct and a t are that close its because the t rushed the ct and managed to end the round close enough to him so he can kill him. it's quite fair game for the ct to beat the T in his own games. But I seriously dissagree about the 20 secs until map end makes every rules void.. imo rules are rules and if you follow them usually, why spray at defenseless T because maps is gonna change. It feels like rankwhoring and powerabuse.
