The title says it all. Rep doesn't really have any useful purpose but it's always nice to able to rep someone when thanking isn't enough. And i really miss the green lines

It didn't feel like as if anyone still used it anyway. People tend to hit the thanks button quicker than hitting the reputation button and filling in a reason why the 'said' person deserves a rep.

What if it was like the "thanks" when you get credit when you get thanked and when you thank? That might encourage people to do it... For example:

If you got rep when you thanked everyone would be thanked -.- and then everyone would have loads of rep because they got thanked

In my 4 years here I have never pressed the thanks button. Who has so awesome post that gets my first thanks. There is little challenge for you.
