Anyone else here into longboarding?

Some would argue that this isn't a sport but I thought this was the most fitting location to post this on the forums...

Here are some pics of the boards...

90mm Wheels.. roll right over most anything.

And the board that I was riding Friday afternoon..

when I decided to test whether or not the concrete was as hard as it looked.....

And yes it's as tall as my 7 year old.

The results of the test were as expected..

I've lost about 20% of my skin and am pretty bruised up...

but got right back on the board.

Yes! I am usually trick skating as well as riding some mini ramps (And once a vert ramp.....ouch), but I'll

occasionally be out on my old longboard, riding downhill on empty highways in small towns I pass when I go

up to school in the fall. The best time is around 2 AM, when no one is out and the sun is just showing on the horizon.

But here in Milwaukee, I'm likely to hit someone on the sidewalk, as no one here ever sleeps anymore.

Ooo , Looks kinda cool , but no one does it in my country.

They just skate.

It's kind of a mixture of surf & skate..

I'd recommend it to anyone that's into surfing or snowboarding.

my cousin has one of these and when i go to his house we usually longboard. It reminds me alot of snowboarding but nothing can compare to the powder

Yeah.. it hurts a lot less when you wreck in powder!

Also, my Rasta board

All of these are completely custom made from 3 of my friends. I paid $40 for the complete Rasta board, and $80 for the Billy Mays board.

The Billy Board hauls so much ass it's ridiculous.
