Lost Prophets - Last Train Home (Reading Festival 2004)

KoЯn and Lost Prophets get some of the best crowd jumps.

By the way, this doesn't have to by an only metal thread.

Post Whatever you'd like it just has to be a live performance.

You can also post more than one at a time!

Q and not U, local D.C. band that broke up far too soon. Not as dark or rock as Korn but they were smart and great musicians, unfortunately a little too political, but hey, it's D.C.

Saw them live and they were great, good energy and fun to watch. Pretty sure the singer was on coke or something because he had way too much energy.

Easily Hiromi Uehara's If... at the Shinagawa Aqua Stadium Stellar Ball.

In terms of the actual music, it's better live compositionally(I made a new word) and in sound quality in comparison to the album version. Tony Grey(the bass player) has a 2:50 long solo that's absolutely incredible. Then there's Hiromi's exuberance on the piano which is something else completely. Though I credit this to the song style, I have to say that the drummer is lacking in this one. Not his fault, he plays incredibly on faster and more complicated songs... here he's kind of taking a back seat.

Ahhh nostalgia :)

Easily for me was:

Arcade Fire at Reading/Leeds 2007 (was at Leeds, but most youtube vids are reading):

They were 2nd to last act, came on just as it was starting to turn dark, their music was simply amazing, just washed over the crowd :)

Then at Leeds 2007 there was the Klaxons (who i'd seen in 2006 in a small tent, now they were in the biggest tent)

Then lastly, about a month ago i saw Queen and Paul Rodgers (the lead singer from Free), which i thought was awesome. I was too young to see Freddy perform live, but that meant i could still enjoy myself without making comparisons.

What they did do was, when playing bohemian rhapsody, used videos of freddy singing for the main lyrics, then played along live with it, which i thought was awesome. (btw couldn't find a vid of the concert i was at that was any good, so this is filmed in hyde park, seems to be the song they played, with highlights)
