I am looking for the smallest gaming notbook you can get. I am also looking for something about $600 or less, i dont need to play Crysis, but CS:S and TF2 would be nice. Any suggestions?

If you wanna run a source engine game like CS:S make sure the notebook you get has a pretty good processor because it's weighting on the performance seems to be greater than the video card in my opinion. You also have to watch out for notebooks with Intel GMA video cards because those suck balls, trust me. At least have one with a NVIDIA or ATI video card since they're the leading companies for them so far.

I don't know any great notebooks for 600 dollars or less but if you're willing to pay 200 dollars more you can get this notebook

If you don't want the notebook mailed to you, you should find a pretty good notebook at Best Buy if you have one near you, they usually have a good deal and some great packages. Although their customer service sucks so stay away from it.

It's not impossible, but it can be done if you wait for a deal. Black Friday isn't to far away. Less than two months ago, in September, Best Buy put the Gateway M-6862 on clearance for around $500. Prices varied at each store. While you wouldn't want to play Crysis on it, CS:S and TF2 would be just fine on it. Either hold out for a deal, search for a used gamer, or dish out the cash.

EDIT:

Specs on the M-6862 were:

Intel Centrino Core2Duo T5750 2.0 Ghz processor

4GB RAM

250 GB HDD

ATI Mobility RADEON HD 2600 w/512MB memory (dedicated card)

5-in-1 Memory Card Reader

Webcam

HDMI output

Wireless-N

Vista 64-bit

Don't buy gaming notebooks. They are all over priced even the somewhat decent ones.

not at all. the only overprices ones are from brand name companies if you get one from the odm then you will pay around 2 grand, and thats for a 17 inch laptop with a quad core, 4 gb ram, and sli.

you just gotta know where to get the odm's (google clevo if you dont know what im talking about)

also for 600 dollars you cant buy a gaming notebook unless by gaming you mean pong :-p for 600 bucks your stuck with low end graphics cards or god forbid integrated. imo, a gaming laptop should have a 9800 gts or gtx or a gt card. which i havent been able to find for under a grand
