  1. I just invested about a month and a half ago, using Coinbase, and I put $15 into each, totaling $45, now my total is $145. I'm trying to learn about it as best I can and have a basic understanding of it. I'm just enjoying seeing my money rise.
  2. Just a bump of this thread because the boyband just released their third album this year to complete the trilogy!!!!!! https://open.spotify.com/album/5c2AzoNyr46fCQM5d8mxE0
  3. A colder day, sunny but clouds are present, with a gusty wind.
  4. There is a new boyband that is having a rise in popularity recently. The boyband is called Brockhampton. The boyband has seventeen members of rappers, singers, producers, artists, and management. They all met on a Kanye West fan forum called KanyeToThe and all came together in Texas and created this boyband. The guy who started it all is Kevin Abstract and he has a successful solo career himself in the music world with his album that came out late 2016. The reasoning for why I am calling this rap group a boyband is because Kevin wanted to rebrand the term boyband and says that they are the Internet's first boyband. They have one mixtape that came out in 2016 and two albums under their belts and it is all amazing. Here are some of their really fantastic songs to get to know their style very well, but these song's don't fully describe their style, as they are a bit all over the place. Don't miss these guys, they are really fucking good
  5. You really think its overkill? My college gave me a checklist of specs I should have for my laptop a Xeon or Core i7 processor, minimum 8 GB of RAM, and 500 GB of hard-disk space.
  6. Hey guys, so a little update on my life, I've graduated high school and am going to college in Rhode Island for architecture. I am getting a new laptop probably Monday, the 7th. I've narrowed it down to three laptops and want your input. In case you do recommend a laptop to me, I don't want a Macbook and I need it to be really powerful so I can use all of the programs that I need, while also not being $3,000. 1. Dell XPS 15 - $1,974.99 This laptop I'm a bit iffy on just because I haven't done a lot of research on it. Its a nice price, I just don't know if its an actual good laptop or not. It has a Core i7, 1 TB SSD, and 16 GB of memory. 2. Lenovo ThinkPad P50 - $2,505.60 So I know that ThinkPad's are really good for architecture and a lot of people that I have seen around campuses use these. The price is pretty high, and with some accessories, I'd be getting really close to the $3,000 mark and I wasn't planning on paying that much for a laptop. But I do get an Intel Xeon processor with 32 GB of memory and 512 GB SSD. 3. Microsoft Surface Book - $2,034.05 I'm leaning towards this laptop the most because it is really nice looking, and is 25% off on Amazon so I'm saving $700. This laptop is also a tablet and has a pen which is a staple in the Surface lineup but I think I would really use it in architecture for drawing and taking notes. The only thing that worries me with buying this laptop is that there are a lot of bad reviews saying how shitty the laptop is but they are all from a year or so ago, and some recent reviews say that the laptop works really well and they don't have any complaints. I would be getting a Core i7, 512 GB SSD, 16 GB of memory, and NVIDIA GeForce graphics. Those are the laptops that I'm looking to get, so I'd like to know your opinion on them and which one you think is best for architecture in college. Just a reminder, I'm most likely getting the laptop this coming Monday, the 8th.

  9. Thanks for the help everyone, I decided to get the iPhone 7+ because I can suffer through having dongles and shit.
  10. I need your help. So I'm up for an upgrade and I want to do it now before my phone goes to shit. So at the moment, I'm on android with the HTC One (M9). I am looking to either get the new version of my phone, the HTC U11, or the iPhone 7+. Reason why I'm not looking at other phones is because I don't want to figure out a new OS and I like HTC's OS, so why change? Here are some pros and cons I have made up about moving to an iPhone: Pros: - Nice Camera - iMessage - Easy to find a case for the phone - Easy to find a person who has a chord for charging Cons: - Switching is a pain in the ass (or so I've heard, correct me if I'm wrong) - Battery life is pretty shitty - Re-buy all of the apps I bought on Google Play - Give in to Apple - Can't listen to music and charge phone w/out buying a thing that can do that Now here are some pros and cons on sticking with the HTC U11: Pros: - Better camera than the iPhone (apparently) - Larger Battery - Familiar OS - Easier to move data Cons: - Groupchats - Music from iTunes to Google Play is annoying - Can't listen to music and charge phone w/out buying a thing that can do that So those are what I have come up with, please give me your opinion on what I should get, because I'm seriously torn.
